2022 Incoming!!!

Dear friends and family, This week has been spectacular! We had a lot stuff happen and it was all fantastic! Let's start at the beginning. We were preparing for our branch christmas party and I was going to dance and dress up as Santa. I couldn't find a Santa suit, so I used a light the world shirt instead and I printed off a Santa beard so I was super prepared! The day came for our branch party and it was fantastic. We had over 50 people come and participated! The crazy thing that happened at the party was that the power went out right in the middle of it! Don't worry it came back on at the end. The following day was Christmas eve and the Corriverton Elders came and celebrated with us! We played uno flip and unstable unicorns, we had chicken nuggets with french fries, and we had a very spiritual devotional!  Christmas morning! We played unstable unicorns and called our families! My family got a lot of cool things and I was super happy to see them! We were able to visit Jos...

Christmas Miracles!

Dear friends and family! This week has been great we were super busy! We taught two new families and they both are super solid. One of the families is a part member family and the father couldn't make it to church so I was initially sad and wanted to cry but then he said his kids could come, so I didn't cry and I was super happy! It made church even more fantastic because we had 30 people overall! The branch is slowly getting bigger and bigger! We are going to have a christmas party on Thursday at our branch and I will be Santa Klaus for the kids. I also will be performing a dance for the branch so I hope that I dance good! My Spiritual thought is about facing our fears and I turned to general conference and the talk that touched me the most was Elder Henry B. Eyrings talk "Fear not to do good". My favorite quote is: "The Lord tells us that when we stand with faith upon His rock, doubt and fear are diminished; the desire to do good increases."  I can testify...

The True Spirit Of Christmas!

Dear friends and family, This is going to be a short email today, I was super busy! The big highlight was our mission Christmas devotional this morning. We ate breakfast and shared our favorite Scriptures about Jesus Christ. There was a lot of great ones! President Lamprecht closed with a story about his two Christmases in the mission field. His first one wasn't great becaused he was still adjusting to being a missionary. The second Christmas he remembers more clearly because he forgot himself and was lost in the work of the lord! He invited us to have a Christmas like his second one. This touched my heart because I remember my last christmas in the mission field and it was super amazing! I definitely want to be like that again for my last Christmas out here and I want it to be something I will remember for years!  I close with the testimony on Jesus Christ's birth. I testify that Jesus is the christ and he is the greatest gift that we should hold on to forever and never lose! ...

Christmas Transfers!

Dear friends and family, Good Day everybody! This week has been packed with miracles so let's get into it! First we had our first lesson our friends Cuvita and Jago. We have been contacting them for a while but we weren't able to teach because Jago wasn't awake. Today he was awake, so we were able to teach the Restoration! I went on exchanges on Friday and I went to Corriverton with Elder Peterson. Peterson is one of the best Missionaries here in Guyana and I learned a lot from him. One of the highlights from the exchange is that we balled up with some guys on a near by basketball court. They are big fans of the NBA and they were talking about the playoffs and how Donovan Mitchell is one of the best! The Miracle in this exchange is that I didn't have any major bike problems. Some of the bikes have been having issues like pedals getting loose and falling off. Miraculously, the bike did not break! On Saturday, we exchanged back and at night, we found out the changes for t...
