Letter From Mom

Dear Matthew,     It was so great to read your email this morning then to video chat with you for awhile! I am so grateful for technology that allows me to see you and know how you are doing? I hope you had fun at the park playing some b-ball. How are you doing bud? You know you can talk to me about anything! I sent a package out today for you. Inside you will find your presidential ballot, so you can vote and mail it in. Your first Presidential vote :) Mimi and I are thinking we need to come and see Bishop's Castle. It looks beautiful where you are! I love how your love and happiness just beams from your smile. You are a wonderful example to me of Christlike love my son. I miss you and love you so much! My First P-Day

Dear fam and friend's,   This has been the most explosive week that I have ever been apart of, haha. Let me start on Tuesday because that's where I got my incredible companion. His name is Elder kunz and he's from amalga Utah. We are both assigned to rye ward area and we are team rye 1. After we got into rye, I had the great opportunity to serve one of the members. She was so nice and we helped her scrubbed paint off her porch swing chair.   After that we went to the apartment and Im not going to lie, It has some serious gravity falls mystery shack vibes lol. I got to meet the other companionship, Elder holland from California and Elder gray from Utah. After that, I had a good night sleep . Then the work began Wednesday where I had a great lesson with a non member. She lives in Walsenburg and my companion last time left here with a commitment to read the book of mormon, and she did it which made me so happy . My Journey Begins

Dear Family and Friends,     First I want to let everyone know that I'm still alive and I wasn't ignoring you. I was Busey doing MTC work haha :). Today I'm writing to you all to share my gratitude for all of you! you guys have impacted me so much and There's literally no amount of words that I can say to tell you that all of you are amazing!     I am about to have my last class on the MTC and I'm going in excited and nervous. for one, This marks the end of My time here in Utah, and on the 12th (which is monday.) I will be leaving for Colorado Springs. I'm going to Miss every single one of you! My district, My Teachers, And of course you guys!     However, I know that the savior will watch not only me, but you as well. At the beginning of the year, I was having doubts about serving a mission. However, now that I look back, I'm not as scared anymore.
