Patience Is A Virtue

What a week! Hello everybody! This week has had a lot happen so let's just get into it here.

Tuesday was actually quite slow for us. Not many people could meet and we just were going around trying to find people to teach. We found some people in the evening time so that was nice.

Wednesday we had our zone conference! It's was pretty good. It was nice to see some of my friends I have made over mission and to get together. Not much after that.

Thursday we had our weekly planning for the week. Afterwards we had some appointments. As we were heading to our first appointment, Elder Miller actually noticed some people signing. And yes that's right, we found two deaf people and was able to yet again have the wonderful experience to sign with them. They were so happy to see us and for us to sign with them. One of them we drive by almost everyday but just found out she was actually deaf. Was so cool and was great to see them. One of them named Love lost her hearing when she was ten and nobody in her family is deaf and her mom doesn't even know Sign Langauge to talk with her. She is now between 20-30 in age but can only read lips a little bit. Was amazing to meet her.

Friday we went to go see Josephine! But she was busy so we told her we would come by next week. But instead we went to go see Love at the other side of town. We taught her and she was happy again to see us. She is thankful that we are here to talk with her. And I'm grateful too for me to be able to meet her. For this I want to say that God has a plan. Everything in our lives is for a purpose and part of a plan. I didn't know for sure why I was sent to Ghana, or even Zenu for that matter. But I know God's plan is unfolding before me and us. What a great plan to be a part of. Patience is a virtue. What a beautiful plan.

Saturday was a very busy day. We went up to katamonsu again and contacted and met with our people up there. Nothing out of the ordinary there.

Sunday was a great turn out for us. We had a lot of people come and we were able to get Isaac a meeting with the Bishop. If you remember iaaac, he is a great guy and a wonderful investigator, he is better than most of the members haha. His only problem is smoking. We are working with him everyday and he is overcoming little by little. Something I wanted to mention was he walks to church In sun or rain every Sunday around 4-5 miles there and back because he doesn't have money for transportation. That man has dedication.

Anyways thats it for this week. I'm so grateful for the blessings and tender mercies that God gives me. So grateful. Keep on chugging along everyone, patience is a virtue. And the blessing is unimaginable. This Saturday we get transfer news for the next transfer so I'll let you all know if something changes. Love and miss you all! Till next week.

Much Love,

Elder Abe Busschau.
