Rain, Rain, And Even More Rain!

Dear friends and family,

We had an awesome week and it was fun time in Diamond North!

As you can see from the title of this email, it rained heavy here in Guyana. After a busy day, we usally come back home drenched but it was worth it because we were able to meet with a lot of fantastic people. We went to one of the coolest members in the diamond branch, the Whauls. They have a beautiful two story house and have a cute dog. Sister Whaul fed us this delicious chocolate chip muffins with raspberry and cream on top, oh my, it was so good!! It was so good, I made it my new Facebook picture lol. We were able to finally meet this cool guy named Wazid! He was a man who contacted us but we had a tough time setting up an appointment with him. We finally taught him on Sunday and it was awesome! Hes a Muslim and and his family super nice! 

Big miracle for this week happened yesterday! We were able to invite everyone to church but only a few said yes. One in particular was a man name Steve. We dropped him a while back because he wasnt really keeping commitments. We decided to stop by him and see how he was doing. He was doing good AND said he was planning on coming to church! At first I wasnt sure, but then his wife asked us what time church started and we told 9. She automatically said we will be there. At that moment my hope levels went up because in Guyana, when a wife says their coming, it usually happens so... awesome. He CAME! it was so awesome and Im super grateful that he did and that god provided a way for him.
