Rain! Lots of Rain!

Dear friends and family,

This week, we got wet! Drench all over with water! It is the middle of the rainy season here in Guyana and its been a great one.

We were able to go out and teach which is always good and fills me with the spirit. Me and Elder Naea are getting along, we work well together and have fun. We have been having a lot of bike problems which is kinda frustrating. We were able to have are awesome district leader Elder Restrepo come and help us fix them lol. We did service for this one family and They sre super cool so I hope we can start teaching them soon. Overall it was a good week in Diamond!

Spiritual thought: I was thinking about what I should share today but the inspiration came this morning! We were doing service for the family I talked about earlier and their son showed us how to weld. I have seen welding before and the way he explained it was super cool! It made me think about our covenants. When we make and keep covenants, we are welding ourselves to god and becoming stronger to resist temptation. Elder Bednar expounds on this in his recent talk, we heed them not. As we continue to build our faith in jesus christ, let us weld to him by making and keeping our covenants so when the adversary comes again, we heed him not! I say these things in the name of jesus christ, Amen.

Sincerely,
Elder Franco
