It's Christmas In Guyana!

Dear Family and Friends,

It's SPOOKY season! or is it LIGHT THE WORLD season? I don't personally know but what I do know is that there is no fall or snow here in the caribbean lol! The title comes from a conversation we had with our downstairs neighbor. Her name is Surhiya and she is super nice, me and Elder Jenson consider her our best friend who works downstairs from where we live! We talked about how our day went and how we went around teaching people. She told us what we are doing is super good and it can help Guyana a lot in these times. Then she showed us her christmas tree, Which I thought was cool and absolutely funny at the same time. Elder Jenson told her it's not christmas time yet and Surhiya said that it can be christmas time anytime! That made me Laugh so hard! I want to know what you all think, can the Christmas spirit start early?

The work here in Rose Hall has been good, we traveled by taxi a lot this week and Elder Jenson had to get reimbursed, so that's a sign that our area is too big. We put Mahendra back on date for this month, for this coming Sunday to be Baptized! He is super excited and he is definitely going to stick the landing! In short this has been an amazing week!

To close, I want to close with my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I have been practicing to make it short so people would understand more clearly, so here it goes. I testify that the Book of Mormon is another scripture of Jesus Christ, I know by reading it and applying its teachings, we can become better people to make a better tomorrow! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
