General Conference October 2021!

Dear Family and Friends,

It's has been an amazing weekend this past week! We got to hear from the prophet and the apostles and it was so incredible! The messages that were shared were needed and I and Elder Jenson found a lot of answers to the questions that we had! My Favorite Talks were given by the following: President Russell M. Nelson, Elder Wilcox, Elder Gilbert (even though I'm not a fan of math or graphs), Elder Villaneuva, and Elder Dallin H. Oaks. they answered the questions that I had about myself and how to help the members here in Guyana.

General Conference wasn't just about who spoke, but who came to what. We had 4 friends come! they were amazed and happy to hear from the leaders of the church. One of them is Actually getting baptized this coming Sunday! The spirit felt so STRONG and I saw small miracles happen to not only me and my companion but other people as well.

Exciting news in the mission as well! there is a small rumor that Trinidad is finally processing landing and work permits, so there's a possibility that Trinidad can be flooded with us soon! Also, Suriname is finally becoming its own zone within the next few weeks, which is exciting! Next, we have a senior couple, now, in the mission office! their name is Elder and Sister Williams, I haven't met them yet but I'm glad they came, they are reinforcements that the mission needs right now!

I want to end with an invitation for all of you today! The Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, has invited all of us to make time for the lord each day and when we do, we will see blessings and strengthening our spiritual foundations. I will add My Witness to this invitation and I can testify that it works! It truly does, I have seen it! So I would like you, all of you to reinforce your foundations today! with any method you think fits your needs. For me, it will be to read five verses of the scriptures each day! I struggled to focus on this in the past, But hey! I'm on My Mission, what better time to do it now! I promise as you guys do this, you will see your testimonies grow and you will be able to withstand the mighty winds of the adversary, which will come again, again, and again. But be not afraid Lads, for the Lord is on our side. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
